Boston-based residential cleaning franchisor, MaidPro, and its official 501c3 nonprofit, MaidPro Cares, has adopted the Liberty Children’s Home in Belize. MaidPro employees came across the orphanage in 2013 during a corporate adventure retreat and have since worked tirelessly to help support the children and the staff of the home.
Volunteers with MaidPro Cares recently visited the Liberty Children’s Home (Ladyville, Belize). They renovated the bathrooms, built lockers, cleaned and repainted the jungle gym and basketball court, and installed new pathways leading to a transition dorm (constructed by MaidPro Cares in 2015.) The home currently houses 39 children between the ages of 6-18. Click here to watch the video. MaidPro Cares is supported by the 225 MaidPro locations throughout the US and Canada and many of their 100,000+ clients. Nearly 100% of the funding goes directly towards improving the quality of life for children living in group homes. MaidPro Cares also works with the Rainbow Children’s Home (Tortola, BVI) and the Friends of the Children organization (Boston, MA). Earlier this year MaidPro was selected by Franchise Business Review as a Top Low-Cost Franchise, Top Franchises for 2016, Top Franchises to Veterans, Forbes Top Ten Franchise to Own and America’s Top 50 Franchisees by CNBC.
